HCC Consultants delivers a series of workshops developed by the prestigious Institute for Healthcare Communications (formerly the Bayer Institute for Health Care Communications).

These workshops, which are offered to small groups of physicians in either 3 hour or 6 hour sessions, are fast-paced and interactive. The principles are based on sound research findings and the lessons can be put into practice immediately.

As part of each workshop, communication skills are presented through pragmatic exercises, group participation and role-play activity. Participants also review and critique videotapes of patient-clinician interaction. The goal of each workshop is to build better communication skills that will improve patient health outcomes and decrease the possibility of litigation from unhappy patients. Workshop participants receive CME Credits.
